ITK Planetarium :
ITK Gezegenevi is a 60 seat digital
planetarium dedicated to public education and raise awareness in the wide
spectrum of arts and sciences by employing state of art graphics and sound
systems. Since its inauguration last April, over 10000 visitors watched fulldome
shows and listened to the lectures given by professional astronomers. Powered by
Imaginova StarryNight software and Spitz Scidome projection system the ITK
planetarium can simulate position and brightness of over 65 million stars and
the solar system bodies for 200 000 years, time span from anywhere on Earth or
in the universe. ITK planetarium takes the advantage of full dome digital
projection system, besides astronomy, arts and math shows are available. To
maintain scientific excellence the planetarium program is updated constantly by
permanent staff.
